The Holocaust Memorial Miami Beach is an outdoor exhibition museum with over 100 statues and vignettes that tell the story of the 6 million Jews murdered from 1933-1945. Focusing on basic freedoms and the values of tolerance and mutual respect, the Memorial, located on over 2 acres, combats bigotry in contemporary society.
History and technology have come together in the creation of the Holocaust Memorial mobile app. Survivor testimony, historical video footage, timelines, interactives maps and archival photographs have all been combined to create an onsite guide to the Memorial. The app has been translated into Spanish, French, Creole, Hebrew, German, Russian and Portuguese. To download the app, visit iTunes App Store or the Google Play Store.
